Through close cross-functional collaboration with our designers and engineers, you will directly contribute to the quality and experience of our cutting-edge autonomous vehicles.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Create highly complex physical design and engineering prototype parts and assemblies in CATIA or SolidWorks</li><li>Accurately model complex surfaces, geometries, and assemblies</li><li>Generate accurate and concise drawings, including prototyping fabrication details</li><li>Utilize a broad range of techniques such as machining, metal fabrication, welding, laser cutting, water jet, and additive manufacturing equipment</li><li>Use and maintain manual shop equipment, additive manufacturing equipment, and CNC machine tools</li><li>Design and build tools and molds for casting or composites, and produce sample parts</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field</li><li>7+ years of experience in prototyping or model making for design and engineering</li><li>Mastery of CATIA or SolidWorks for prototyping applications</li><li>Experience driving complex prototyping projects across multiple functions</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with supplier management and development to support Prototyping</li><li>Experience with documentation tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence</li><li>MIG and TIG welding experience</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
