Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Understands the functional principle of company products (purpose of company products, main application fields etc.) and the company portfolio (depending on business area - MS (incl. basic SuSy) or Static Sealing, Espey) and their functional principle (match seal type to different applications, different industries); selecting suitable material combination for different standard applications;</li><li>Conducts basic technical customer discussions for existing standard products;</li><li>Takes over incoming RFQs and orders as instructed by local entities &amp; SSC management;</li><li>Performs full customer interaction (both written and phone) concerning quotes, sales order confirmation, delays, order status, etc.;</li><li>Processes standard and mid-complex quotes according to guidelines &amp; rules and in close collaboration with the local entity;</li><li>Supports with registering and maintenance of CRM data (sales opportunities);</li><li>Registers incoming standard and mid-complex orders according to guidelines &amp; rules;</li><li>Performs quote follow-up, standard sales quote &amp; order pricing;</li><li>Has basic knowledge regarding transfer prices, profit margins, product cost, and market relationship ("feel the market"; similar price levels for customers from the same industry or branch, etc.);</li><li>Registers tickets for different presales or sales-related subprocesses (creation of customer accounts, new materials, etc.);</li><li>Registers and sends out purchase orders to suppliers;</li><li>Updates delivery time and follows up with suppliers, local entity partners, and customers if instructed or needed;</li><li>Offers basic administrative support for claims and registers these in the system as per defined rules &amp; guidelines;</li><li>Supports the local entity with other basic presales and sales tasks;</li><li>Resolves open sales quotes and orders related issues with the local entity;</li><li>Reviews supplier invoices, validates final data, and saves customer invoices;</li><li>Acts as back-up for colleagues who are on leave, as per the internal regulations;</li><li>Trains and guides new joiners;</li><li>Provides support to other colleagues and team members when they require help to fulfill their daily activities;</li><li>Provides support to the extended team, as and when it is the case;</li><li>Provides ad hoc support for projects and initiatives;</li><li>Shows ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time schedule to meet the established deadlines.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Economic/Technical studies are an advantage;</li><li>Previous experience in Customer Service and/or Sales-related fields</li><li>German and English for business use are mandatory;</li><li>Computer skills related to Microsoft Office; mid-level Excel knowledge</li><li>SAP Knowledge or different ERP experience is mandatory;</li><li>Open to process improvements;</li><li>Fact-driven and strong analytical skills, detail-oriented attitude;</li><li>Motivation and open communication style;</li><li>Attention to detail;</li><li>Good organizational skills and proactiveness;</li><li>Team player;</li><li>Customer- and solution-oriented.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
