If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>· Create and maintain 3D CAD of harness designs and the relevant vehicle BOM in PLM.</p><p>· Work with schematics and mechanical teams to develop harness routing for best cost, vehicle assembly and harness manufacturability</p><p>· Prepare CAD and documentation for harness design releases</p><p>· Thoroughly checking all requirements are met and ensuring consistency with schematics</p><p>· Maintain component library (terminals, connectors, cables, wires, etc.)</p><p>· Engage with suppliers to coordinate changes, create trial parts and incorporate DFM feedback</p><p>· Work with Quality Engineers on incoming quality checks and harness rework activities</p><p>· Support escalated issues as needed and participate in triaging of issues with different teams and harness suppliers</p><p>· Participate in the design of a world class engineering effort to bring electric vehicles to a new level of refinement</p><p>· Create rework instructions as in intermediate action and provide a permanent resolution</p><p>· Willing to travel 20%</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>· 5+ years of related experience</p><p>· Expert knowledge in harness 3D design and vehicle harness development</p><p>· Strong experience with 3DExperience Electrical workbench</p><p>· Harness packaging experience and knowledge of manufacturing</p><p><strong>Advantageous</strong></p><p>· Plastic, metal and rubber components design for wire harnesses</p><p>· Ability to identify and communicate risks, mitigate and drive issues to closure</p><p>· You deeply understand mechanical and electrical systems</p><p>· Ability to build stuff with your hands</p><p>· Harness Debugging Skills</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>· Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.</p><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
