If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p><strong>Role</strong></p><ul><li>Integrate your experience with prismatic and/or LFP cells, modules, or packs from cell suppliers or OEMs.</li><li>Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production.</li><li>Develop and qualify manufacturing equipment, including Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).</li><li>Utilize data analytics tools such as JMP, SQL, Tableau, and Python to analyze manufacturing data and drive decision-making.</li><li>Apply mechanical engineering principles, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T) and tolerance analysis, to ensure precise manufacturing.</li><li>Ensure cell quality through experience with APQP, PPAP, teardown analysis, audits, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.</li><li>Enhance suppliers' Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure robust risk management and mitigation strategies.</li><li>Conduct regular quality audits at international supplier’s facilities to ensure compliance with established standards.</li><li>Drive cell design and process improvements based on lesson learned and industry experience</li><li>Resolve performance or quality issues by working closely with suppliers and internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Conduct material characterization using techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years industry experience in battery cell Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in quality assurance, particularly with APQP and PPAP processes.</li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for up to 50%.</li><li>Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.</li><li>Strong data analytics skills, with proficiency in JMP, SQL, Tableau, and Python.</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors with 5+ years of experience or masters with 3+ years of experience or a PhD</li></ul><div><div><div><div><strong>Salary Range</strong>: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
