Why move a two-pound burrito with a two-ton car?<h2>What you’ll be doing</h2>As an Robotics Field Operations Associate at Serve Robotics you will be the primary operator in supporting commercial robot deliveries and product development. Your main objective will be to execute deliveries and help the organization drive process improvements that allow operations to scale. Whether you’re piloting, deploying and handling robots in the field, or supporting merchants and retail staff, you’re the point of contact during operations. You’ll also serve as the link between development and operations, supporting development tests and providing feedback to inform teams on the products and services we build. You will be the Swiss Army knife of Operations, with daily contributions adding up to have a significant impact on the organization.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul style=""><li>Execute commercial end-to-end deliveries with Serve robots in market</li><li>Support robots in the field and act as the point of contact for issues that might occur</li><li>Aid in deployment of robots to and from market</li><li>Uphold efforts to maintain appearance and cleanliness of robots </li><li>Help maintain a clean and safe workplace that facilitates frictionless operations</li><li>Contribute to the development of processes and routines necessary to operate robots safely </li><li>Assist development and quality assurance efforts to improve the product</li><li>Provide feedback on product, tools, or features to the development team for iteration</li><li>Act as a point of contact for Serve merchants, customers, and stakeholders</li><li>Help with day-to-day decision-making to prioritize resources and execute test plans</li><li>Provide additional ad hoc operational support to the team as necessary </li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul style=""><li>Superior organization, collaboration and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to keep calm under pressure with a can-do attitude to meeting challenges</li><li>Ability to work independently with little need for supervision</li><li>Available to work scheduled shifts 7 days a week, day and night</li><li>Capable of spending multiple hours on your feet and walking/ biking several miles per day</li><li>Comfortable riding bicycle in city environment</li><li>Comfortable driving U-Haul sized vehicle</li><li>Valid US driver’s license</li><li>Ability to lift 70 lb</li><li>Background Check</li></ul><h2>What makes you standout</h2><ul style=""><li>Previous experience at high-growth, fast-paced startups</li><li>Familiarity with G Suite, with an emphasis on Google Docs and Sheets</li><li>Familiarity with Jira</li><li>Passion for efficiency, innovation and robotics</li><li>Previous military experience or security clearance</li><li>Passion for video games</li></ul>
