Established in 2020 with the Indonesia 1 Fund, we invest in early-stage clean energy startups across Southeast Asia to support our global vision of achieving 100% clean energy for 100% of the population. 				<h3>The Vacancy </h3>We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager based out of Vietnam, Indonesia, or the Philippines to join our team remotely and drive our current and prospective investment activities in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and early-stage funding mechanisms, combined with passion for renewable energy and sustainable development. Our organization’s entrepreneurial spirit is bolstered by staff who do not shy away from a challenge and are comfortable taking calculated risks. 				<h3>Key Responsibilities 				</h3>Investment &amp; Portfolio Management Activities (30%) <ul> <li>Collect, analyze, and manage impact data from portfolio companies to measure progress against sustainability metrics</li> <li>Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned portfolio companies</li> <li>Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies to accelerate their growth</li> <li>screen, and evaluate potential investment opportunities across the climate tech ecosystem in Southeast Asia </li> </ul>Investor Relations (40%) 					<ul> <li>Facilitate communication and manage engagements with current and prospective limited partners</li> <li>Support the development of fundraising materials and pitch decks for future funds</li> <li>Assist in preparing quarterly reports and updates for limited partners</li> <li>Help maintain strong relationships with the investor community				</li> </ul>Fund Operations (30%)<ul> <li>Contribute to the fund's overall investment strategy and thesis development 					</li> <li>Collaborate with team members to refine investment processes and workflows 					</li> <li>Stay current on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments 					</li> <li>Represent the fund at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities 			 		 	</li> </ul>Requirements	 				Professional Attributes<ul> <li>3+ years of relevant experience, with Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Accounting 					</li> <li>Strong understanding of the market dynamics and startup ecosystem in either Vietnam, Indonesia, or the Philippines</li> <li>Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem partners 					</li> <li>Prior experience in climate tech, renewable energy, circular economy, or related sectors 					</li> <li>Experience working with impact measurement frameworks 					</li> <li>Network within either of Vietnam, Indonesia or the Philippines’ startup and investment community 					</li> </ul>Personal Attributes<ul> <li>Have excellent analytical skills and attention to details 					</li> <li>Have work ethics to collaborate with a desire to grow and learn and possess a can-do attitude as well as attention to details 					</li> <li>Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills in both local language (native) and English (fluent)</li> <li>High degree of professional ethics and integrity, organizational, prioritization and time-management skills 					</li> <li>Independent and adept in remote teamwork setting involving collaboration in multi-cultural environment</li> </ul>BenefitsThis is a full-time remote position.
