This Tier 2 or above position requires comprehensive grasp of core networking fundamentals, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to architect solutions for organizational improvement. The role involves hands-on work in WAN/LAN network administration, virtualization, enterprise wireless, cloud networking, business continuity/disaster recovery, and performance tuning/monitoring. The role’s duties include Handling the day-to-day maintenance of network infrastructure and troubleshoot issues at a Tier 2 level or above; using their IT knowledge to develop company networks, coordinating with company leadership to identify network needs, and providing assistance to employees and other individuals on effective network usage. Additional tasks will include, but are not limited to, assisting in selection of appropriate network solutions, use of various networking appliances, topology software and devices as well as collaboration on certain documents for the purpose of NERC based regulatory requirements. Creation and updating of Network documentation. The position will work closely with the entire IT department, our Operation Control Center, Technical Service Division supporting our Data Analytics team, SCADA engineers and Ignition access control system to various plants and sites across the nation.
