Roles and Responsibility:<ul><li>Manage &amp; maintain windows server infrastructure including installation, configuration &amp; troubleshooting of Windows server operating Systems.</li><li>Manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, including VM provisioning, performance monitoring &amp; troubleshooting.</li><li>Manage &amp; administer Domain Controllers, DNS, File, Print &amp; WSUS Servers</li><li>Configure &amp; manage Active directory services, group policies &amp; organization units</li><li>Lead server deployment projects including planning, provisioning &amp; configuring new Servers.</li><li>Managing enterprise Storage &amp; Backup operations using Veeam backup Application</li><li>Manage administration tasks &amp; operations related to Microsoft INTUNE, Identity Access Management &amp; Autopilot</li><li>Manage &amp; administer Microsoft O365 Tenant including sharePoint</li><li>Perform MS Database Administration as and when needed</li><li>Administration of CMDB using ServiceNow</li><li>Diagnose &amp; resolve Server related issues, including performance bottle necks.</li><li>Identify opportunities for consolidation, virtualization, &amp; cloud migration to optimize infrastructure efficiency &amp; reduce costs.</li><li>Perform regular maintenance tasks such as applying patches on Windows &amp; Linux Servers.</li><li>Monitor server performance metrics, logs, alerts. Perform routine performance tuning and optimization tasks to maintain optimal server performance &amp; resource utilization</li><li>Collaborate with Application Teams for their hosting requirements &amp; provide daily operations support</li><li>Work closely with cross functional teams &amp; vendors to resolve escalated incidents &amp; minimize business impact</li><li>Any other duties seen as critical to the role.</li><li>Role Specific Competencies:Mandatory Skills &amp; Handson in below technologies:</li><li>VMware EsXi, vSphere Management &amp; troubleshooting</li><li>Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS configuration &amp; troubleshooting</li><li>SCCM &amp; Windows patching (WSUS)</li><li>Microsoft Exchange, O365 Administration &amp; SSO</li><li>MS INTUNE &amp; Autopilot</li><li>CMDB &amp; ServiceNow</li><li>Linux Servers Management (Intermediate level)</li><li>Good communication Skills (Verbal &amp; written)</li><li>Excellent knowledge &amp; experience in installing, configuring &amp; managing Windows Servers including 2016, 2019 &amp; 2022.</li><li>Hands on work experience in managing Linux Servers – Intermediate level.</li><li>Experience in designing &amp; deploying Active directory environments including domain controllers, GPO &amp; organizational units.</li><li>Server Virtualization technologies – VMware vSphere &amp; Hyper-V</li><li>Strong understanding of concepts like SCCM, WSUS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP &amp; VLANS.</li><li>Experience in PowerShell scripting.</li><li>Good understanding in cloud computing &amp; hosting technologies.</li><li>Good knowledge &amp; understanding of Microsoft 0365 Environment including Microsoft End user Licenses management.</li><li>Experience with Patch management tools &amp; processes for deploying Security updates, hot fixes &amp; service packs across windows server environments.</li><li>Proficiency in performing windows Server OS upgrades, migration &amp; DR activities.</li><li>Experience in storage technologies like NAS, SAN &amp; raid configurations.</li><li>Proficiency in backup &amp; recovery solutions for Windows server environments</li><li>Good understanding of Networking concepts &amp; protocols.</li><li>Familiar with Cyber security standards.</li><li>Good understanding in ITIL process. Change, Incident &amp; Problem Management.</li><li>Proven expertise as a Windows server administrator preferably in a large enterprise environment managing 300 Servers.</li><li>Excellent technical &amp; problem-solving skills.</li></ul>
