This position is responsible for overseeing the coordination of US tax compliance and financial reporting by a third-party service provider, US tax planning, and IRA related projects. In addition, this position will be responsible for income tax account reconciliations, administrative tasks, and special projects.</p><p></p><p><b>The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. </b></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Maintain the compliance calendar for income taxes to ensure the timely filings and payments</li><li>Manage quarterly and annual tax provision process to ensure accurate and timely tax accounting and disclosure</li><li>Manage US tax compliance process, including providing internal schedules to external tax preparers, timely response of investor’s inquiries, and final review of returns for accuracy</li><li>Manage timely resolution of IRS and state tax notices and lead income tax audits including dealing directly with auditors</li><li>Support tax planning initiatives with internal teams</li><li>Interact with other departments (i.e., Development, Operations, Accounting, Procurement) to obtain information to prepare memoranda detailing income tax treatments</li><li>Assist other tax related projects (i.e. IRA) as business needs required at the direction of management</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Growth Opportunities: </b></p><p>Repsol has a strong commitment to professional development and promoting from within.
