You will be responsible for many of the daily accounting tasks and fiscal control processes of the New York office.Accountabilities include: Accounts Payable <ul><li>Create and maintain vendors in accounts payable system, including documentation compliance such as W-9 and W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E forms</li><li>Review incoming Purchase Orders for correctness, accuracy and coding.</li><li>Check employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with our expense policy</li><li>Process payments on invoices and employee expense reports in NetSuite.</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable to general ledger monthly</li><li>Conduct onboarding training for new hires on expense reports and purchase orders.</li><li>Reconcile Credit Card and Ramp Card expenses with the monthly statements and process timely payments in NetSuite.</li><li>Reconcile Diversity Travel expenses, gather supporting documents and coding to record in NetSuite.</li></ul>Payroll and Benefits<ul><li>Partner with the Talent team and our PEO providers to process payroll and benefits</li><li>Update and input payroll and benefits information in our PEO platforms</li><li>Reconcile PEO data with data in our Accounting platform (NetSuite)</li><li>Reconcile payroll and benefits activities to internal and external reports twice a month</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deposit checks in appropriate bank accounts via RDC</li><li>Assist with annual audit and tax compliance by creating supporting schedules</li><li>Other duties as may be needed or assigned by the Finance Manager</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications <ul><li>Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable in a small or medium sized organization</li><li>Experience with NetSuite</li><li>Bachelor's Degree, accounting concentration preferred</li><li>Able to provide exceptional communication and customer service skills, plus demonstrate ability to perform in a team environment with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office required</li><li>Excellent excel analytics and modelling skills</li><li>Excellent organization skills and proactive communicator</li><li>Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and follow–through</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with high degree of patience and flexibility</li><li>Authorized to work in the U.S.</li><li>Self-reflective and aligned with Acumen’s Values</li></ul>Location New York, NY Deadline  Please submit an application by January 6, 2025.
