We have leveraged the unique skills and complementary expertise of each like minded joint venture partner to build scaled end-to-end solutions that will successfully accelerate a local circular economy.About this opportunity Working in either Day, Afternoon or Night Shift, the Operator role will cover 24/5 operations at this Greenfields, state of the art rPET recycling facility.  The Operator will be trained efficiently in areas such as Quality and WHSE.The operator role will play a key role in delivering a Continuous Improvement mindset and initiatives to process 28,000 tonnes of baled post-consumer PET per annum for conversion into food grade rPET resin.Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Comply with WHSE procedures and directions and follow reasonable instructions, always working towards Goal Zero.</li><li>Actively participate in all Company training on Quality Policies and Procedures and always upholding those standards</li><li>Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing where specified on Operators Instruction sheets.</li><li>Advise Supervisors or Technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance or People issues.</li><li>Housekeeping of workstations during shift, with a final clean up at the end of the shift.</li><li>Training and development opportunity. </li><li>Be an active member of the operations team through open &amp; honest communication.</li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:<ul><li>Experience in operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.</li><li>Experience in loading/unloading trucks.</li><li>Physically fit and able to do manual tasks.</li><li>Store person, warehouse, manufacturing experience preferred.  </li><li>Experience in handling dangerous goods preferred. Dangerous goods handling training can be provided.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely, effectively and productively.</li><li>Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.</li><li>Superior communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated experience of working within &amp; actively contributing to a Continuous Improvement environment</li></ul>
